What Rockstar has confirmed about Short Trips

Rockstar's June 13, 2024 Newswire describes Short Trips as a trio of missions where you play as Franklin and Lamar to build LD Organics into a legitimate herbal empire. It says to launch them through your iFruit: Quick Join, then Contact Missions, then Short Trip, or from the Rockstar Created missions list in the Pause Menu. Weekly trackers list GTA$500,000 for finishing all three before Oct 28, paid within 72 hours. It replaces last week's Dr. Dre Contract bonus, which Rockstar confirmed for Oct 15-21 and which has ended. Until a Rockstar page lists it, treat the bonus as likely but not guaranteed.

How to plan it

• Find a partner now. Weekly trackers describe the missions as two-player, so a solo run is not something to count on
• Run all three in one sitting so nothing is left half done before the reset
• Finish by Oct 27 to stay clear of the Oct 28 deadline wording
• Check your balance after 72 hours before assuming something went wrong

Is it worth the time?

We cannot say, and the app will not guess. Rockstar has not published how long the three missions take or what each pays on its own, so GTA$ per hour for Short Trips stays blank in Mission Control. If you would have to wait or recruit, compare it against a route you can run alone before you commit.
